CPP UK & Ireland Branch January 2012 Meeting

1. To create more Jobs for the youth,
How that can be achieved:-
A. CPP will put in place a National Data base of all Residents of the Country Ghana, by strengthen the existing Birth and Death registry with the State of the act Information technology Inputs and personnel who will register all persons in the districts or Municipalities etc.
B. The Unemployed will be identified and those with skills will be prepared for work .Those without skill will be trained with practical skills like, welding ,bricklaying, carpentry, baking, vegetable farming, fish farming, Auto mechanic, sprayers, etc. CPP will arrange for feeding and Accommodation as well as apprenticeships with exiting craftsmen. Apprentice will receive allowance which will be deducted from their salaries when they are employed , this program will last for 10 months in theory at the polytechnic and the technical schools. Some Senior High schools will be reoriented to offer more practical courses in every district- as opposed to the current high number of students in Arts and Social sciences.
C. How do we fund this project - with the GETFUND,
D. The National Service will Undergo Military Training and work under the Field Engineers Regiment of the Ghana Armed forces to build ,roads bridges and railway lines ,water tankers and simple machines for everyday use , that is every District Ghana will Have a Base Workshop , and Field Engineers Department Under the Arm forces to enforce skill traning and Discipline.
E. How Do we fund this project - with the part of the Defense Budget and the National service Budget.
F. CPP will make street hawking and loitering Illegal , and Idleness will not be encouraged .
G. CPP will scrap the current blue shirted wards and retrain them to server a better perpose than traffic lights -hence all traffic Lights will be solar powered with CCTV, others will be absorbed into the Ghana Police Service and The Fire service.
H. The Junior High School will be equip with programs that reflect the Nations needs, once again Art and Craft will be reintroduced.
2. To develop the railway Sector in Ghana
Currently the railways system in Ghana is almost dead, it NPP Government took over 6 years to construct Acca to Tema rail line spending so much millions of Dollars, NDC did noting for Railways but A CCP Government will redeveloped the sector.
How will that be done? When constructing roads Instead of those Concreted wide pavements on the road sides which have very little use , CPP engage engeneers to make it possible to be used for railway tracks. CPP is in arrangment to train Some personnel when it comes to Power in 2012, in Europe to understudy the railway engineering and technology , CPP is already in engagement with Foreign Interest to develop the sector with Funding and technology transfer .
3. Housing
CPP started the State Housing Corporation and they developed several Housing Units in Ghana ie Kwadaso, Kaneshie, Labone Latebekosi, and various Government etc But today STX Korea Deal to develop the sector did not become a reality. CPP will use local Contractors and local building Materials like the brick and tile, CPP established the brick and tile Factory which was sold for no reason to other interests who demolished the factory at Marlam Junction in Accra, leaving the Clay deposits Untapped , once more A CPP government will rebuild the factory but on another location. Ghana Cement production will be strengthen and Ghanaians will be taught alternate Housing constructing which is less in cost and safe for the environment as well as earthquake resistant , other Brick and Tile Factories will be setup in Areas in the country with clay deposits.
